Banks close in three days from tomorrow! Can’t find service in any cities

Following this week’s Tuesday bank holiday, banks will be closed once more for a total of three days. Throughout the first nine days of April, only three days in several states had banks open. In fact, banks were closed on Tuesday in a few states due to Mahavir Jayanti, including Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand. Due to Babu Jagjivan Ram’s birthday, banks were closed in Hyderabad yesterday.

Due to Good Friday, banks will be closed on Friday, April 7. Banks are closed the next day because it is the second Saturday of the month. The following day, Sunday, September 9, the bank branch will be closed. Banks will thus be closed for a number of days at the end of the week. In India, banks are open on the first and third Saturdays but closed on the second and fourth.

Except in Tripura, Gujarat, Assam, Rajasthan, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, and Srinagar, banks will be closed on Good Friday.
