TMC Candidates List 2024: Trinamool declares candidates for 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal.

Lok Sabha Election 2024, TMC Candidates’ Full List:

The All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) unveiled their candidate list for West Bengal’s 42 parliamentary constituencies on Sunday, March 10, 2024, cutting off at least eight current MPs and welcoming several newcomers, including former cricketers Yusuf Pathan and Kriti Azad.

The party renominated 16 sitting MPs, including 12 women.

TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee unveiled the list, which includes renowned faces such as Abhishek Banerjee from Diamond Harbour and former MP Mahua Moitra from Krishnanagar. Shatrughan Sinha, an actor, has once again been nominated for the Asansol seat. Meanwhile, former MP Haji Nurul Islam succeeds actor Nusrat Jahan in the Basirhat seat, which contains the conflict-torn Sandeshkhali area. Meanwhile, Yusuf Pathan, who is running from Berhampore, will face Bengal Congress chairman Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury in the elections.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stated, “We will contest all 42 seats in West Bengal against the BJP, Left, and Congress.” We will contest one seat in Uttar Pradesh in collaboration with the Samajwadi Party (SP). I spoke with Akhilesh (Yadav). We are the opposition party in Meghalaya. We will compete there and in Assam as well.”
