The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup schedule has been revealed

India will start their campaign against Pakistan on October 23 in the Super Twelve of the Men’s T20 World Cup. India-Pakistan will also fight in the Women’s T20 World Cup. The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is being held in South Africa from February 10. The ICC has published the same schedule. The India-Pakistan duel will be in the group stage.

Harmanpreet Kaur’s India are currently playing in the Asia Cup. Before that, England’s women’s cricket team was whitewashed in the one-day series after losing the T20 series on the tour of England. India is in Group 2 along with England, the West Indies, Pakistan, and Ireland in the T20 World Cup. Group A teams are Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Australia won the last T20 World Cup in 2020 by defeating India.

As per the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup schedule, the group stage matches will continue till February 21. The group stage consists of four matches for each side. To the semifinals will advance the top two teams from each of the two groups. The games will be held in Cape Town, Pearl, and Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha). The final date has been fixed for February 26. Reserve days have been kept for the two semi-finals and the final. In the opening match of the Women’s World Cup, South Africa and Sri Lanka will meet in Cape Town. On February 12, there will be matches between four Asian countries. India will start the campaign on the same day as Pakistan’s match in Cape Town, Bangladesh will play against Sri Lanka.

India’s remaining matches are against West Indies in Cape Town (February 15), England in Port Elizabeth (February 18) and Ireland on February 20. Both semi-finals will be played in Cape Town. The first semi-final is on February 23, with the reserve day on February 24. The second semi-final is on February 24, with a reserve day of February 25. The 27th of February is Reserve Day. The Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 has gained huge popularity. Women’s cricket will be played for the first time at the Commonwealth Games this year. India raised hopes of winning the final but were satisfied with the silver in the end. However, after the last T20 World Cup, India, under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, has become much stronger. Good results are expected this time too. Tickets for the Women’s T20 World Cup have been priced at 60 Rand to attract visitors.
