The Howrah Puri Vande Bharat Express will begin service this month.

Following the Howrah-Puri route, the railway authorities have decided to launch another Bande Bharat Express to improve connectivity between Patna and Ranchi. The train will be revealed soon, according to railway sources.

The Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat Express trial run was successful. This rail service will be available soon. If all goes well, the Howrah-Puri Bande Bharat Express will begin service this month. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a semi-high-speed train will connect Kolkata with Odisha’s temple city of Puri. This train, like the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express, will go from Howrah to Puri in a single day.

According to railway sources, the Howrah-Puri Bande Bharat Express, like the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Bande Bharat Express, will depart Howrah station in the morning and arrive in Puri in the afternoon. The train will depart from Puri station in the afternoon and return to Howrah station in the evening. The Bande Bharat Express travels from Howrah to Puri in roughly six and a half hours. The Vande Bharat Express would stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Khurda between Howrah and Puri. On this 500-kilometre journey, the train will travel at an average speed of 77 kilometres per hour and at a maximum speed of 130 kilometres per hour.

Following the success of the Howrah-Puri route, the railway authorities have decided to launch another Bande Bharat Express to improve connectivity between Patna and Ranchi. The train will be revealed soon, according to railway sources. Not only that, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants semi-high-speed trains to connect every corner of the country. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, he also announced the launch of the Bharat Express, which will make 75 stops in total.

In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Bande Bharat Express on December 30, last year. Apart for Wednesday, this particular train runs six days a week. The train departs Howrah at 5:55 a.m. and arrives in NJP at 2:30 p.m. After a few hours, around 3 PM, the Vande Bharat Express departs from NJP and arrives in Howrah around 10:30 PM. The train possesses a top speed of 160 km/h. When compared to the premium train Shatabdi Express, the semi-high speed Vande Bharat Express also has special passenger facilities.
