How does a QR code verify Aadhaar?

First, you must download and install the mAadhaar app from the smartphone’s Google Play Store or App Store.
Launch the app and tap on the QR code icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Scan the printed QR Code on your Aadhaar Card, e-Aadhaar, or Aadhaar PVC using your phone’s camera. Then double-check it.

The app will now scan the QR code and display the Aadhaar holder’s biographical information. Name, gender, date of birth, address, and a photo, for example, will be displayed. UIDAI has digitally signed and authenticated all of this information. You can also verify Aadhaar online by visiting the UIDAI website and inputting your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
